PS3 YLOD for spares or repair ?

Faulty PS3 has the YLOD. My friend sold me this cheap about 8 months ago as he had the same problem but then it started working after he bought a new PS3. I had to open yesterday to get the game that was stuck inside out and up until the weekend it all worked ok, the fan speed was increased to stop the YLOD but doesnt appeared to have work. Comes with power and tv cable. Great for spares or for anyone who can fix it.
