I have a sony vgn s3xp with good battery (less than 1 year) and new hard drive (80 GB).
The machine stopped working, but sometimes comes again with the message (bios shadowed).
Screen has two slightly darker areas (small not affecting display).
No broken parts (keyboard and body are OK) with charger.
